The USA Today reports that quarterback Aaron Rogers has denied rumors that he is gay. In an interview with ESPN 540 in Wisconsin, he expressed his love for women. He also said he doesn’t worry too much about silly media reports.
Last month, the Queerty website had published a story about Aaron Rodgers and friend Kevin Lanflisi. The story had reported rumors about the NFL player’s sexuality. The story has a picture of Lansflisi wearing Rodgers’ superbowl ring and other pictures of the two friends.
Rodgers is preparing for Sunday’s upcoming matchup against the San Francisco 49ers at Lambeau Field. The game is a rematch from week one of the NFL. In the previous meeting, the 49ers defeated the Packers 34-28 on September 8. The Packers made it to the playoffs by winning the NFC North after defeating the Chicago Bears last Sunday. The Packers finished the season at 8-7-1 and the 49ers entered the playoffs as a Wild Card with a 12-4 record.
The game will be televised on Fox at 4:40 p.m. on Sunday.
