On the night of the Miss America pageant, the then Miss Wisconsin made a plea to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to call her. Many people speculated that he may not have seen the show because of the football game.
However, now Rodgers has set the record straight. He did actually watch some of Miss America after receiving texts about her unusual request, but he hasn't called her. . . yet.
Aaron Rodgers said the following to ESPN Radio:
So eventually I clicked over, and actually I clicked over when it was down to the top five and was amazed as it went four, she's still up there. Three, she's still up there. Two, she's still up there. Is she really going to win this thing? And then, sure enough, she did. So I've got to give her a lot of credit for that. That's quite an accomplishment. A whole year of getting to do all of that Miss America stuff. That's exciting for Wisconsin, the one bright spot over the weekend. I have not talked to her, but am excited for her.
Wow! What does a woman have to do to get a call from the Packers QB? It doesn't seem as if winning Miss America is enough! Perhaps he doesn't have time for a relationship right now, or it could be that he's simply not interested.
