Packers fans free coffee: Fans to get free coffee, hand warmers at playoff game

Packers fans will receive free coffee and hand warmers may help make today’s NFL Wild-Card round game a bit more tolerable when Green Bay and San Francisco tee up the action later this afternoon at Lambeau Field.

According to a Newsoxy report on Jan. 5, Green Bay Packers fans get free coffee and hot chocolate during Sunday’s playoff contest against the San Francisco 49ers.

With temperatures expected to be below zero at game time, with wind chills near -25, the Packers won’t be charging fans for warm drinks today.

The field known as the "Frozen-Tundra" will certainly live up to it's reputation tonight.

Even though they may hit record breaking cold temperatures for a NFL game, over 70,000 fans are expected to pack Green Bay's Lambeau Field to cheer on their Packers.

The game is scheduled to kickoff today at 4:40 p.m. EST
