Pack of Lies, a four-piece alt/rock/pseudo-grunge band based out of North Hollywood, released their debut full-length, Out of Ink, this week.
It may be their first record, but Out of Ink was a long time coming - the band had been at work finishing it up for the better part of the past two years or so, culminating in this week's release.
One listen to the record's 12 songs and the band's influences are as clear as day: this is a band rooted deeply in some of the best alternative/rock bands of the past 15 years: Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden, that sort of thing - each song bursting with slick riffs and singer/guitarist Thomas Wolfe's vocals.
If you have Spotify, you can listen to Out of Ink there - or head out to the band's FREE album release show/party tomorrow, Thursday January 17th at King King in Hollywood and receive a free download card of the record.
