According to a May 11 SBN report, Game 4 of the 2014 NBA playoffs between Indiana and Washington will be televised on TNT and streaming live on TNT Overtime (online). After dropping the series opener in stunning fashion, the Pacers appear to have finally hit their stride, as they look to put the Wizards against the ropes with a third straight win.

After regaining home-court advantage with a blowout win in Game 3, the (2-1) Indiana Pacers lead the best-of-seven series over the (1-2) Washington Wizards. One more victory would give the top seed a golden opportunity to close things out Tuesday night in Indianapolis.

The Verizon Center in the nation’s capital will be the site for Game 4 of the 2014 Eastern Conference Semifinals. Opening tipoff is scheduled for 8:10 p.m. EST (7:10 p.m. CST/5:10 p.m. PST), and as reported by the Washington Post on May 10, the Wizards need all hands on deck in order to keep up with the Pacers.

After having six players score in double-digits in the opener, Washington’s balanced attack has slowly dissipated. In fact, over the last two games, only three Wizards players have reached that mark, which certainly will not get it done against the Pacers suffocating defense.

For the Indiana, while everything starts on the defensive end, the reemergence of Roy Hibbert has had an impact in this series. A May 10 LA Times report illustrates that how the two-time NBA All-Star has gone from laying a goose egg in the opener to averaging 21 points in the Pacers victories.

In addition to Hibbert’s improved play, Stephen Babb also credits Paul George as one of the unsung heroes in Indiana’s locker room. The former 10th overall pick out of Fresno State is averaging is solid 17 points and seven boards in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, and has been a presence on the other end of the floor.

Who will prevail tonight in what is sure to be a battle of wills between these clubs? For what it’s worth, 2014 NBA playoffs oddsmakers have Washington as four-point favorites against Indiana this evening, while the OVER/UNDER tallies 180 points.
