2013 Pac-12 tournament results almost revealed another upset. UCLA barely survived Arizona State in Pac-12 tournament results from the second round on Thursday (March 14). The game was a tight one from beginning to end, with the Sun Devils actually taking an eight-point halftime lead that made it look like an upset might just be on the horizon.

UCLA really pulled it together in the second half and ended up out-scoring the Sun Devils 45-34 in the second half alone. It helped the No. 21 ranked team in the nation stave off what could have been a pretty embarrassing upset loss during the conference tournament. Arizona State played them tough all the way to the end, though, probably with hopes of sneaking into the NCAA tournament themselves. UCLA finished off the game with a big run, winning it 80-75.

Larry Drew II finished with 20 points, Shabazz Muhammad had 16, and Travis Wear had 15 to lead the Bruins to the victory. Early 2013 Pac-12 tournament results has certainly revealed some very close games, including the Washington State Cougars nearly pulling off an upset against the Washington Huskies on Wednesday night (March 13). Washington did advance, though, and UCLA has been able to do the same now.

With this quarterfinal win, the UCLA Bruins now advance to play the winner of the Arizona vs. Colorado game in the Pac-12 semifinals. A match-up with Arizona could be a tough one, as both teams were leading the conference standings at one point during the regular season.
