Pac-12 tournament brackets 2013: UCLA clinches regular season Pac-12 title

The 2013 Pac-12 tournament brackets are starting to fill out. With UCLA clinching the No. 1 seed in the Pac-12 tournament brackets, the team gets a bye into the quarterfinals on next Thursday (March 14). On Saturday afternoon (March 9), UCLA took care of the Washington Huskies on the road to clinch the regular season Pac-12 title and the No. 1 seed in the tournament.

NCAA Tournament Seeding Predictions

Second place in the Pac-12 was decided a bit later on Saturday, along with a lot of the additional tie-breakers. Utah clinched the No. 10 seed with a win to move to 5-13, but every other team still had not determined its own fate just yet. As the games come to a close on the final day of regular season play (March 9), the brackets will be updated to reflect what teams get which seeds.

A three-way tie for the No. 2 seed came about when Arizona beat Arizona State on Saturday. That left California, Arizona, and Oregon with equal 12-6 records in the conference. With that in mind, the tie-breakers come into play, where the results of collective head-to-head competition during the regular season among the tied teams is calculated. California wins out, with Oregon coming in at No. 3 and Arizona getting the No. 4 seed.

The final tie-breakers for the 2013 Pac-12 tournament brackets will be revealed when the USC vs. WSU game comes to an end on Saturday night.
