P.O.D. also known as Payable On Death (www.payableondeath.com) will be in concert on Thursday night, February 7 at McGuffy’s House of Rock in Dayton, Ohio at 8 p.m.
Currently, the band – comprised of Sonny Sandoval (vocals), Marcos Curiel (guitar), Traa Daniels (bass) and Wuv Bernardo (drums) is touring in support of their latest effort, Murdered Love. Fans will recognize their collection of hits with songs like “Southtown,” “Rock the Party (Off the Hook),” “Youth of the Nation,” “Boom,” “Satellite,” “Alive,” and many more.
Released in July 2012 by Razor & Tie, Murdered Love features one of the band’s new songs, “Higher,” which has followed in the footsteps of their earlier charting songs by already hitting number one on Active Rock Radio.
Selling over 12 million albums worldwide since the band’s inception in 1992, P.O.D. has made a name for themselves with their authentic sounding combination of reggae, rock, hip-hop and punk as well as their connection with their fans, known as the “Warriors” across the globe. As a multi-platinum act, the band has sold out international concert venues, earned GRAMMY and American Music Award nominations as well as being honored with countless other accolades.
In other touring news, the band just wrapped up a tour with Daughtry and Three Doors Down in December. On February 1, P.O.D. hit the road again, joining Three Days Grace and Shinedown for a tour, which kicked off in Moline, Illinois.
