Saturday, March 30, 2013 – (ZaZen your life with Mudra Zen)

Your home (or anywhere) – Clinch the everyday challenges of life’s struggles with ZaZen meditation whether you’re looking to find your “inner Chi” or learning how to become more aware and sensitive to others’ needs. According to Zen Specialist Marc Isaac Potter, it’s up to each individual to choose what they become sensitive to and about, and as life becomes more fulfilling and balanced they can learn to control stress through Mudra Zen, a simple sitting meditation (much like stress relief and bio-feedback techniques, generally about 45 minutes although people can trim to 10 to 15 minutes a day if they so choose). If you like what you’ve learned here, visit Potter’s website for more “Zen” teachings and what it can do to enhance your everyday life. For more information about online Zen Classes, email: mipc441@gmail.com (with “Zen Class Request” in the subject line). Stay tuned for additional Zen by Potter and others in the coming weeks to enhance your life and style.

Zen tips for this week: Where is the best place to meditate, and how? Watch the video above; but as for how and the best techniques – the “tricks” of the trade would be comfort (anywhere comfortable for you); with keywords being silence; quiet, peaceful, simplicity, relaxing, opposite of stress (such as thoughts of an ocean breeze in the sun under an umbrella vs. dodging traffic in a busy downtown district of Manhattan in a thunderstorm. The idea is to lose yourself in luxury not get lost in chaos.

Duquette designed costumes, jewelry, interiors and furniture and was the first American artist to be given a one-man show at the Louvre. Answer to last week’s Mystery Photo: The question for last week's Mystery Photo was, where was the Rolex clock located – if you looked up? The hint was, it was not located at JFK (which is where the Rolex clocks are all famously located throughout, and where Rolex also maintains them).
