The Duck Dive http://www.theduckdive.com is located like 150 feet from the Pacific Ocean in P.B. Its actual address is 4650 Mission Blvd and it is booming at The Duck Dive. If you surf, you know how to duck dive. This P.B. hot spot is absolutely a tribute to surfing and the surfing culture, but you may go and enjoy even if you aren’t from that tribe.
Class, that’s first class in terms of a step up on the atmosphere in a P.B. restaurant offering a sports bar complex in the middle of the good food. This spot offers a huge selection of craft beers, plus unique cocktails, yours for the taking.
They offer a large food menu, appearing nearly gourmet in terms of presentation and taste. Nancy and I were there just to see but we had to try the sliders for two just because they looked so good and they are good! Plus we ate for $5.00 and we consumed a skinny margarita for great flavor.
Sitting at the bar watching dish after dish of beautiful food on parade is not good for your New Years goal of weight loss, but it is a fact that the dishes I saw couldn’t look more appealing than they are.
The atmosphere is outstanding, the servers were friendly and quick enough to enjoy the time we spent in the bar. There are the requisite number of TVs to constitute a moniker of “Sports Bar Extraordinaire” and I can’t wait for March Madness to come to the Duck for it’s going to be a pleasure watching from anywhere inside this new establishment in P.B.
