Walt Disney Pictures has set a release date of March 8, 2013 for the movie Oz The Great And Powerful. The Oz The Great And Powerful movie plot captures the origins of Frank Baum beloved character, the Wizard of Oz.

In the beginning he thinks he's hit the jackpot-fame and fortune is his for the taking. That all changes, conversely, when he encounters three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz), and Glinda (Michelle Williams), they are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting. Unwillingly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its occupants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Using his magical talents to use through illusion, ingenuity-and even a bit of wizardry-Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better individual as well.
