“All My Babies’ Mamas” will never even make it on the Oxygen network. It looks like Shawty Lo will not get his reality TV show as first planned since Oxygen has now pulled the show according to Fox News on Jan. 15.
The show “All My Babies’ Mamas” hasn’t even aired yet and it was getting a lot of negative feedback. So, before it could even air, Oxygen decided to pull the show.
The show was to be about Shawty Lo, an Atlanta rap artist who has fathered 11 children by 10 different women.
The Oxygen network reviewed the casting and decided not to move forward with the show. After announcing the show last month, they received hostile reception from viewers. They had at least one petition asking Oxygen to shut down the show with more than 37,000 signatures.
The Parents Television Council was very upset with the upcoming show and said it was “grotesquely irresponsible and exploitive.”
Oxygen denied these charges and said it was meant to be “the complicated lives of one man, his children’s mamas and their army of children.”
What is your opinion? Do you think this show represented an okay lifestyle or was it just another funny reality TV show?
