Oxygen green lights new show to give Fat Girls REVENGE

Revenge is sweet or is it? That is what the Oxygen network is hoping to find out with their new show Fat Girl Revenge airing later this year. The title alone is stirring up some controversy on various internet websites.

Oxygen who’s known for the tag line “Live Out Loud” has gained a reputation as the network for young female viewers with popular shows like; The Bad Girls Club, My shopping Addiction, Girlfriend Confidential LA and Snapped.

In a recent media release the network announced the expansion of its original programming with three new shows for 2013; Fat Girl Revenge, Find Me a Man, and Too Young to Marry.

According to the networks media release these shows focus on unconventional programming that speaks to the networks audience of young women in an authentic voice they can relate to and embrace what they crave.

Fat Girl Revenge will follow two women who have experienced rejection, humiliation and negative comments due to their being over weight.

Now that the women have shed the pounds and have gotten their SKINNY on, they get the chance to confront the people in their lives who treated them as outcast. Ex-boyfriends, family members and classmates will hear and feel the raft from these women.

According to Oxygen’s media release “This is not another weight loss or makeover show, it’s a series about settling the score after the ponds have been shed”. After getting healthy these former “fat girls” get the chance to live out their fantasies and seek payback against their former offenders.
