Jeffrey LeFevre, a 24 year old gymnastics coach, is accused of havig sex with a 14 year old girl on Jan. 25 in his car in Oxford Township. He appeared in 52-3 District Court in Rochester Hills on Monday for a brief court appearance and he remains jailed on a $250,000 cash/surety bond.
Allegedly, a few days before having sex with the girl in the parking lot of the Great Lakes Elite Gymnastics and Cheer, LeFevre gave the girl, a student at Oxford High School, a camera and asked her to send him nude photos of herself. LeFevre was also alleged to have given the girl a note with instructions on how to pose, along with what underwear he wanted her to wear for the photos, according to Oakland County Undersheriff Mike McCabe.
LeFevre is charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct, a 15 year felony, and soliciting a minor for immoral purposes, a 4 year felony.
LeFevre was fired by the gym after the allegations according to management. The center coaches 300-400 youths, mostly girls, from pre-school through high school..
LaFevre was convicted in 2011 for using a computer to commit a crime and is still on probation for that offense.
The Sheriff's Department has said no one else has come forward at this time with claims of inappropriate conduct.
