Owner of two pit bulls that killed baby will not face criminal charges

Susan Iwicki, the owner of two pit bulls that first attacked her and then killed a 14-month-old baby boy will not face criminal charges, according to WSAU news.

New details have been released in regards to the death of baby Daxton Borchardt.

An autopsy was scheduled and performed late Thursday evening.
Borchardt was killed after his babysitter; Susan Iwicki was attacked by her own two pit bulls that she described to news media as “loving and not aggressive”. The pit bulls were later euthanized.

Sheriff’s officials report that unless further evidence shows up, Iwicki will not face criminal charges. This does not mean that Iwicki will not face a civil suit by the baby’s father, Jeff Borchardt.

Baby Daxton was not the only victim of the pit bulls. Iwicki herself has sustained injuries and was rushed to a Lake Geneva hospital, new reports say.

The undisclosed hospital has not yet released a statement as to how Iwicki is healing in her hospital bed.

*Reporter's Note: I do not choose what happens in the news and have no control over what type of breed attacks. All dogs can be dangerous. As I have received death threats due to a defamatory article that was written about me and never retracted, I feel it important to note that I only report. In many of my stories, I choose to use dog* (with the asterisk next to it) so that individual readers may do their own investigation as to what type of dog was involved in each incident. I receive news tips that are tailored to "Dog Attacks" that do not include one specific breed. ~ Joshua-Paul Angell
