Owner of Big Top Popcorn found murdered in her Eastpointe home

Eastpointe police officers were sent to a home in the 23000 block of David Avenueat about 2 p.m. on Saturday after they received a check welfare call. When they arrived and entered the home tay found the homeowner, Christina Lazzana-Webster, 33, dead from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Eastpointe City Manager Steve Duchane told the Macomb Daily newspaper that Lazzana-Webster’s husband, Anthony Webster, was accompanied by his attorney and questioned by police. No arrests were made but Duchane said police are considering it a domestic case.

The couple owned Big Top Popcorn on Gratiot near 9 Mile.

Police are still looking for Lazzana-Webster’s 2000 Lexus RX 300.
