Update 2/10/14: Lulu has been rescued!

It is a confusing time for Lulu...on January 23, she was surrendered to the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control facility in Baldwin Park, Calif., because her owner moved and chose not to take her along.

Unfortunately, the ten-year-old Dachshund mix was not included in the relocation plans and today, she calls a lonely kennel run "home."

Lulu's days of vigorous play and young dog antics have passed, but she still has plenty of life to live and love to share.

Lulu is looking for one person who is willing to share their home with her...a soft bed, good food and the touch of a kind hand are all that is needed to make this lovely senior happy.

Please take a moment to share Lulu's information:
