Owl City hits the LC on 1/28

Minnesota's Adam Young, better known as Owl City, will be bringing his multimedia stage show to the Lifestyle Communities Pavillion (Columbus, OH) on Thursday, January 28. The synthpop wunderkind, whose sleeper hit, "Fireflies", made its way to the top spot on the Billboard 100 chart this past November, will be touring in support of his recent album, Ocean Eyes.

Fans of softly sung confessional lyrics over laptop beats made Owl City a MySpace sensation in 2009. Young's words and music have garnered comparisons to acts like The Postal Service as well as a rapidly growing fan base whose demand has pushed this stop on the tour from The Newport Music Hall to the much larger LC Pavillion.

Owl City will be joined by Lights and Deas Vail. Doors open at 6:30.
