Bands, Brew and BBQ has been having quite a successful run at SeaWorld Orlando, despite the attempts of Blackfish keyboard slacktivists to scare off the entertainers. The event wraps up on March 8 and 9, so there's still time to enjoy great bands, tasty BBQ, and of course a wide selection of free-flowing craft beers.

Click the slideshow accompanying this article to see some of the many activities you can enjoy at Bands, Brew and BBQ. In addition to the main stage performers, you'll find talented local bands on the smaller stage along Bayside, along with food, beer, and merchandise kiosks. Keep an eye out for Shamu and Dolly the Dolphin, who dance with the kids and pose for photos.

Don't overlook the Ports of Call area, which has educational activities and games for kids and appearances by some of the SeaWorld Orlando animal ambassadors. I met a young bald eagle and an alligator during my visit. There's also plenty of seating at Ports of Call, so don't worry about trying to find a table on the main strip.

I highly recommend buying the beer sampler, which lets you choose from ten different varieties. I strongly recommend the maple cider, but there's something to appeal to every taste. Whether you love a pale ale or a dark and hearty lager, I promise you'll be satisfied.

The event area opens at 11:30 a.m., but if you get to the park early, you can enjoy the animals and shows before heading over for music, food, drink, and fun. Jump to this article to see what you can experience if you visit Shamu Up Close.
