Although it is no Times Square, Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles will try it's best to bring the craziest crowd possible this New Year's Eve. There will be many attractions with 22 floors of city hall covered with 3-D floor projections, photo booths, art installations and food trucks immersed in all the action while you listen to over five bands all night long.
Festivities start at 6 p.m. featuring Fools Gold, Daedelus, DJ Seano, Myron & E, Versa-Style Dance Company, Buyepongo and if you still feel you need to see the ball drop, there will be a live feed at 9 p.m. of Times Square.
Maybe you don't want to turn up too much this year. Downtown Union Station will have a great party with the sounds of Dr. Fresch, Robert Delong's roaring twenties-themed "Prohibition NYE," and some great jazz from the Brian Swartz Quartet. Don't forget to get your tickets for the event at the Fred Harvey room.
The Roxy always has a great party and this year it gets better with Mark McGrath hosting and Camp Freddy bringing the sounds. Don't forget to get your tickets for this event, I doubt they will last long.
Get out the house, call some friends and have some fun tonight.
