The most decorated rap group in Hip-Hop history will reunite at the 2014 version of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival. Big Boi and Andre 3000 will headline the 2014 Coachella festival on April 11 and 18 in Southern California.
Outkast released their last album, Idlewild in 2006 and last toured as a duo over a decade ago. During that time Big Boi released two solo albums, 2010’s Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, and 2012’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.
The more eccentric half of Outkast, Dre, made sparse appearances throughout the last decade on songs with Beyonce, Lil’ Wayne, Frank Ocean, and Drake but never released his own material. Dre 3000 dusting off the mic is what makes this years Coachella festival a must-see event.
2014 marks the 20-year anniversary of Outkast's debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. Joining Outkast as headliners are Muse and Arcade Fire.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival takes place on April 11-13 and April 18-20 in Indio, California.
