Grammy Award-winning rap duo Outkast is back. According to Rolling Stone Magazine, on Jan. 13, the duo composed of Big Boi and Andre 3000 has announced that they will be playing in over 40 festivals worldwide in 2014.

As this year marks 20 years since the successful rap duo released their first album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, the group wanted to celebrate their anniversary by giving back to their fans. Outkast will begin the string of festivals by headlining Coachella in April.

Big Boi said he is excited to be performing music again and taking the stage with Andre 3000. In a statement, he says:

It’s truly an honor to celebrate 20 years and still be free do music the way we choose. I’m looking forward to rocking the stage with my Bro Ski and to all the fans, stank you smelly much. This is for y’all!”

Fans will be definitely looking forward to rocking along with the rap duo’s fast beats and unique sound. Andre 3000 shared Big Boi’s sentiments and also expressed how thankful he is to have had the opportunity to be apart of a group like Outkast.

And imagine, all we wanted to do was rap. I am thankful to have been a part of a group that allowed me to explore anything that came to mind and have fun doing it. Returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for their 20 years of supporting Outkast.”

Outkast has not announced dates or locations yet, but officially announced their full return as the duo took to social media, something that wasn’t around when the duo began.
