Outdoors Without Limits needs boats and volunteers on Lanier March 22

Do you take your ability to go hunting and fishing for granted? Outdoors Without Limits OWL is an organization that seeks to break down the barriers for disabled sportsmen, Veterans and seniors through outdoor activities. The 2013 Lake Lanier Ultimate Adventure Grand Slam is a fishing trip for wounded and disabled Sportsmen and Wounded Warriors sponsored by Lake Lanier Harbor. (see video)

What is needed for the Ultimate Adventure Grand Slam to take place

The fishing trip is set for March 22 which is on a Friday. More than sixty Veterans will show up from five states to enjoy the all-day event of outdoors and fishing. OWL provides the assistance for anyone who needs it. Lunch will be provided for everyone. 10-15 boats are needed to take folks fishing, many are ambulatory so bass boats work great, and pontoon boats are needed for those in wheel chairs. Some muscle is needed to help move people from chairs to boats. OWL has insurance that covers everyone who is involved, participants, guides and boat owners etc. The majority of the help is needed from 7-7:30 AM EST and 2-23:0PM EST.
