Watch movies like 'Rush Hour', 'Coach Carter', 'Night at the Museum', 'Harry Potter' and other non-cartoon movies projected on a big screen outdoors. Every Friday night during summer, just before 9pm the local and quirky ice cream shop I Scream Ice Cream will be hosting free outdoor movies in the parking lot. The event is free and popcorn is supplied, also free of charge. If you wish to support the business and treat yourself to some delicious ice cream, then walk just a few doors down for a few scoops of delicious, cold ice cream. Ice cream is regular price but there's a wide variety of flavors and toppings to choose from. There are also drinks for sale.
Be sure to take your own comfort items for watching the movie, including lawn chairs, blankets, etc. As soon as it starts to turn dark, the movie will start showing. The movie schedule is not out yet but if you take a look at the slideshow you will see a list of all the movies that customers have chosen to play on the big screen. The owner has said most of the movies will be non-cartoons, with the exception of 'UP' playing one of the Fridays. The movies are chosen to be enjoyable for adults but safe for kids to watch as well. It's made for a fun experience to spend your Friday nights doing as a family, a couple, or an individual.
