The western Harbor Drive block line, rolled out and full of building assembly pieces, north and south of Broadway, last week, strongly framed the waterfront docks. Pavilions, on both the main street intersection's sides, stood open to the breeze that spanned the walking line.
Construction moved straight ahead. Workers set strong the pieces on the top in the north pavilion. The insides in the visitors pavilion south of Broadway still needed things line dup before workers fill in the steel frame. The months San Diegans have waited for new builings to stop in whiole out inthe sun keep passing by.
Stretches on the wide waterfront, near Harbor Drive, broken up last year, had been crushed, ground up, and rolled level. Dirt, and hard paving ground layers, ran the lengths.
