Out of control vehicle destroys several vehicles

Most people who drive to work, park and don't think any more about it. Yesterday, March 11 ,along Hellerman Street.in Northeast Philadelphia, several vehicles were destroyed when an out of control vehicle smashed through a retaining wall, and totaled at least four parked cars.

Only the driver, a female in her 20's from Philadelphia was injured. The vehicle in which she was driving then drove up an embankment before coming to rest. The woman was trapped in her vehicle for about 30 minutes before she could be freed.

Right after the crash, dozens of people converged on the area to see if their cars were damaged or to lend their support to those co workers who now had no transportation home. As cellphones were whipped out to call insurance companies, extra tow trucks were requested to the scene to clear the wreckage.

Police had no information on why the vehicle went out of control.
