It was such as beautiful Spring day with a high in the middle and upper 50s; in fact it reach 56 at Philly International Airport this afternoon....
But the westerly wind between 15-25mph was killer! It made it feel much cooler and if you wanted to do some Spring Cleaning(raking, etc.) it made it very difficult! At least the wind subsides overnight with lows in the lower and middle 30s.
Sunday we'll have a light northwesterly wind, but still with that northwesterly flow highs will just be in the middle and upper 50s. Overnight lows will be in the lower 40s and then come Monday we'll have an area of low pressure ride up from the south; there will be abundant moisture(close to an inch of rain that may fall) so it will be a raw day with highs in the middle 50s. Rain should hold off until the afternoon and linger into the overnight as it clears out by daybreak Tuesday. Behind that system we'll have a westerly wind so highs will make a run toward the middle and upper 60s! It will be a tad cooler on Wednesday with a more northerly wind with highs in the lower 60s.
Our next chance of rain will be Thursday night into Friday, but not before temperatures may make a run toward 70 for the first time this year! Yeah!
