Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!
To take but not give is as evil as the overt darkness that will torment you. We live in an age where people stomp on each other’s faces, grabbing all that he or she can grab, without putting the necessary effort or work into anything.
There are individuals who will take from you, all that you have, without offering you anything in return. Such people care not about you or how long it took to receive that thing in which they are taking, for they do not care about anyone but themselves.
In 2 Timothy 3:1-17, we read: “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people”.
This above passage from 2 Timothy is so evident today. How many of these types of people do you meet on a daily basis? How much of this blasphemy do you witness? What do you do about it?
These are difficult questions to consider, since these sorts of individuals will slither into our lives, keeping us from finding an escape. It can be impossible to physically flee from such people. Spiritually, however, it is possible.
Through prayer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, all is possible. When we talk to God about such individuals, we can ask Him for His help. These individuals could be a coworker, fellow parishioner, friend, or even relative. It is sometimes impractical to avoid people you interact with on a daily basis.
This is why prayer and constant communication with our Lord is so imperative. Our Lord Jesus wants to help us and gear us away from those evil people who will try to knock us down. Our Lord loves us so much, in ways we cannot fathom. We must remember the love that our Heavenly Father has for us.
Beloved, we are waking up each day to a very horrifying world. For those of us who see the terrors that beset us each moment, fear not. Remember that our Precious Lord Jesus is with us! If you can keep this in your mind each day, and talk to Him more, you will see a difference. Jesus will keep such evils away from you, if you only ask.
Be cautious Brethren, for evil people will be lurking behind the faces of lambs. Do not allow such deceit to fool you! Be on your guard and trust no one! The only one who we trust, should be God, and God alone.
