7In September of 2001, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for Our Generation Miniatures by Battat, Incorporated, Plattsburgh, NY. A year later, Our Generation Miniatures had released a set of toy doll house and doll house furnishings which was distributed by Target. According to www.trademarkia.com, Our Generation Miniatures filed for Section 8 in 2010.
During the years it was in production, Battat released colorful and creative Our Generation Miniatures furnishings, accessories and room cubes with magnetic walls. Wall furnishings, tiny battery-operated lights and room decorations were held on to the walls with magnets. The room sets sold for $12.99 and the smaller accessory packs sold for $7.99. The room cubes measured approx 13" by 13" by 10" and cost around $20.
There were also 6" dolls and clothing released in the Our Generation series.
Although the Our Generation Miniatures sets were designed for the 6" dolls, many of the small accessory pieces, especially plates, glasses, and cups, were over-sized and popular with Barbie doll collectors as well as collectors of other small dolls.
