MAJOR SPOILER WARNING! THE FOLLOWING EPISODE 3 DESCRIPTION REVEALS THE KNAVE OF HEARTS’ IDENTITY.
Get excited Oncers because ‘OUAT’ is about to dazzle us yet again. We discover the Knave of Hearts’ (a.k.a Will’s) Fairytale past and pre-Wonderland identity in “Forget Me Not”. Luckily, this revelation includes a bit of a ‘Once Upon A Time’ cross-over.
THE KNAVE'S PAST IS REVEALED AND CYRUS SUCCESSFULLY TRICKS JAFAR AND THE RED QUEEN WHICH CONSEQUENTLY REVEALS THE WHITE RABBIT'S DECEPTION, ON ABC'S "ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND"
"Forget Me Not" - In a flashback, viewers are introduced to Will Scarlet, who turns out to be the nifty Knave of Hearts. Will has joined Robin Hood's Merry Men and convinces them to steal gold from Maleficent's castle before also pilfering an enchanted looking glass for himself that comes with a hefty consequence. Meanwhile in Wonderland, Cyrus successfully tricks Jafar and the Red Queen into sending a Bandersnatch after Alice who in turn exposes something the White Rabbit has been secretly hiding, on "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland," THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" stars Sophie Lowe as Alice, Michael Socha as Knave of Hearts, Peter Gadiot as Cyrus, Emma Rigby as The Red Queen with Naveen Andrews as Jafar and John Lithgow as the voice of the White Rabbit.
"Forget Me Not" guest stars include Michael P. Northey as Tuck/Injured Man, Jason Burkart as Little John/Traveler One, Casey Manderson as Traveler Two, Ryan MacDonald as Footman, Thomas Saunders as Wealthy Gentleman, Sean Maguire as Robin Hood/Fourth Man, Mark Acheson as Nazim, Iggy Pop as the voice of the Caterpillar, Aaron Harrison as Screaming Head, Hugo Steele as Orang, Steve Bacic as Grendel/Handsome Man, Catherine Michaud as Young Woman, Brian George as Old Prisoner and Kristin Bauer Van Straten as the voice of Maleficent.

Sounds pretty awesome, doesn’t it Oncers? Did you see that twist coming? It is a clever re-imagination and merger of both fairytales. I can’t wait to see how this episode plays out!

UPDATE: SNEAK PEEK
Check out an exclusive sneak peek from TVGuide (click on the link to watch), which reveals Wonderland's dark and dangerous Underland.
The guest star list mentions a character named Grendel. Could he be inspired from the classic epic poem ‘Beowulf’? In the poem, Grendel is a monster defeated by the hero, Beowulf. The images of Grendel certainly depict a monstrous man. Beowulf’s other foe in the poem is a vicious dragon, which could be Maleficent in this case. What do you think, Oncers? Could ‘OUAT’ be seeking more medieval sources of inspiration?
The synopsis also states that Will faces serious consequences for stealing an enchanted looking glass. It sounds like this looking glass transports Will to Wonderland, where he becomes the Knave of Hearts.
What are you most excited to see in “Forget Me Not”? Are you surprised by the Knave’s identity? Do you hope to see a little shout-out to ‘Robin Hood: Men in Tights’? How will Alice react when she learns the White Rabbit’s secret? Will the White Rabbit be able to regain her trust?
