Ottawa golf industry reps set to mingle at PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando

More than 1,000 companies and their new products will greet Ottawa and area golf industry members at the 2014 PGA Merchandise Show during the event that happens in Orlando from Jan. 21-24.

The massive launch of the industry’s show season returns packed with exhibits, new products demonstrations, product testing, industry presentations, educational seminars, teaching workshops, celebrity appearances and professional networking programs.

PGA professionals and industry executives from around the world are preparing now to open the 2014 golf business season with the first “major” on their industry calendar,” Ed Several, PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions senior vice president and general manager, said in a media statement.

“And in 2014, the PGA Merchandise Show will have a major impact on the careers and business success of industry professionals across the globe who will preview and test the newest products; learn from the foremost experts in their fields; and engage with the international golf community through a variety of enjoyable and valuable networking programs.”

Companies new to the marketplace will be introduced to influential PGA professionals and retailers at the show.

They’ll join industry veterans and the top names in golf, including Titleist, FootJoy, Callaway Golf, TaylorMade-adidas Golf, Ping, Cobra Puma Golf, Nike Golf, Bridgestone Golf, Club Car, Adams, Ahead, Cutter & Buck, PGA Authentic, Greg Norman Collection, Travis Mathew, Bobby Jones, Antigua, Cleveland Golf/Srixon, Peter Millar, Oakley, Mizuno, SkyGolf, Fairway and Greene, FootJoy, Gear for Sports, Sunice, Wilson Golf, Under Armour, Ecco, Yonex and many more.
