Osheaga line-up announced, Montrealers headlining

So the 2010 edition of Montreal-based Osheaga music festival announced its line-up this past week and it features a few of Montreal’s heavy hitters split between the two days, July 31 and August 1. Indie sensation the Arcade Fire, as well as the one-time Montreal based Metric, are festival headliners. Stars also play on the first day of the festival, and a few less-known local artists, pop-singer Ian Kelly and jazzy Amanda Mabro both landed a spot on the second day of the event. Montreal’s funky duo Chromeo is featured in Osheaga in the city, happening at Metropolis at 11pm on the Saturday. Finally, from a little outside of Montreal, Quebecer Ariane Moffatt will also be showcasing her song writing on the Sunday.

The non-Montreal headliners at Osheaga this year are Weezer, Deadmau5 and Pavement, to name a few. Pre-sale and weekend passes are already sold out so if you plan on going to the show, jump on the ticket bus as soon as possible. Get all the deets and line-up at the Osheaga website.
