Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey and Queen Latifah walked the Academy Awards red carpet on Sunday, joining Hollywood's biggest movie stars for the film industry's biggest night.
Jennifer Lopez, who arrived with husband Marc Anthony, wore a gown by Armani Prive quickly shot to the top of multiple celebrity gossip "Best Dressed" lists. Jennifer Lopez attended the Oscars ceremony as a member of the Academy, but did not participate in the broadcast.
Mariah Carey, who was a member of the cast of 'Precious: Based On the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire,' told reporters that she hopes the Academy Awards will bring more attention to the independent film. "I just want as many people as possible to see this movie," she told Fox News. "I feel like it is such a work of art."
Queen Latifah appeared during the Academy Awards ceremony to introduce footage of the Governor's Award.
Other big names in music on the Oscars red carpet Sunday night included James Taylor, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Barbra Streisand.
