The Oscars 2014 will air Sunday, March 2 as the movie industry recognizes Hollywood's top talent. What time are the Oscar Awards?

LA Times reports March 1 that the 86th Annual Academy Awards will broadcast live at 8:30 p.m., ET/ 5:30 p.m., PT on the ABC network. The awards show will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Red carpet coverage, predictions, and other specials will air preceding the live event.

Numerous categories are awarded at the Oscars from best film to best screenwriter... and everything in between. The most anticipated awards are who wins best actor and best addition to best film. "Gravity," "12 Years a Slave" and "American Hustle" are predicted to do well while Cate Blanchette and Matthew McConaughey are expected to win the actor and actress categories.

Ellen DeGeneres will host the 2014 Oscars. She was the host at last year's Academy Awards.

There will also be a number of media sources live streaming the 2014 Oscars.
