Oscars 2014 ABC live stream and TV start time 86th Academy Awards streaming free: For the first time in 86 years, the Academy Awards (Oscars 2014) will be streaming live and one hundred percent free of charge on ABC.com Live Stream, beginning at the same TV scheduled start time of 8:30 p.m. EST (7:30 p.m. CST/6:30 p.m. MST/5:30 p.m. PST) on ABC (Miami WPLG-10).

According to a March 2, 2014 USAT report, the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif., will be the site for tonight’s 24-category ceremony, which is presented by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).

The Oscars 2014 will be hosted by Ellen DeGeneres and will feature performances by U2, Pharrell Williams, Idina Menzel, Karen O, Bette Middler and others. It all gets underway with Oscars Red Carpet Live beginning at 7 p.m. EST on ABC.

Robin Roberts, Lara Spencer, Jess Cagle, and Tyson Beckford will host the 86th Academy Awards’ pre-game show with in-depth interviews and first-looks at all the arrivals. After an hour and a half of warm-ups it’s time for the big show, which gets underway at 8:30 p.m. EST.
