Jessica Chastain has become a red carpet fashion staple over the last two years and is now a frequent member on the best dressed list. When it comes to the red carpet, she is not afraid to take risks and knows what works for her body.
If she decides to go for couture after seeing the Parisian haute couture runways, there’s a whole lot to choose from. Dior, Valentino and Elie Saab had great gowns on the runway as did Armani Prive and Galliano. Even, Chanel with its emphasis on bold red, black and white. Our pick for her would something off the Armani Prive runway.
Who will she wear? What will she wear? Will she choose something from the Pre-Fall looks or give us something fresh from Paris’s recently wrapped up Spring/Summer 2013 Haute Couture. This year alone, Chastain has rocked everyone from Oscar de la Renta to Alexander McQueen on the red carpet.
The actress wowed us at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Awards in a beautiful red Prada dress accessorized with Jimmy Choo heels and Harry Winston jewels.
For the 2013 National Board of Review Awards Gala, Chastain chose a simple and chic Alexander McQueen dress paired with Charlotte Olympia shoes, and an Aurelie Bidermann cuff.
At the 2013 Golden Globes, she rocked in a light blue Calvin Klein gown with a plunging neckline that kept us hoping her lady parts would stay hidden. The “Zero Dark Thirty” actress accessorized her deep plunging, open back, halter Calvin Klein gown with Harry Winston jewelry. A sleek hairstyle with dark waves cascading down her neck completed her look.
She chose a black, lace, Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 cocktail dress, a gorgeous collar necklace and Christian Louboutin heels for the 2013 New York Film Critics Circle Awards.
Last year, the actress made our best dressed list for her gorgeous, ornate gold and black, strapless, Alexander McQueen gown, which she accessorized with $2 million worth of Harry Winston jewelry.
This year, her designer of choice is anyone’s guess, but we’re betting she’ll be a knockout. Another thing we’re betting on is that she will rock Harry Winston jewels.
Chastain is nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the movie, “Zero Dark Thirty.”
The Academy Awards will air at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST on Feb. 24 on ABC.
