MTV.com reported the best dressed celebrities at the Oscars 2013 awards show. The live event took place Sunday night, Feb. 24 in Hollywood, Calif. Old Hollywood styles and romantic dresses ruled the red carpet.
Jessica Chastain ruled the red carpet in a copper strapless gown by Giorgio Armani. The gown had gold sparkle detail. It clung to every curve of her body. Chastain had her hair styled in soft glamorous waves.
Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain competed on and off the red carpet. Both of the actresses were up for the award of "Best Actress." Jennifer Lawrence made her mark in a blush-colored bustier dress fresh off the Dior spring 2013 Couture runways. The gown had a long skirt that bellowed like a ball gown.
Charlize Theron also turned heads at the Oscars. She made an appearance with a shorter hairstyle. The pixie-style haircut is supposedly for a role. Theron rocked a white strapless Dior Haute Couture gown. Everything from her style to her haircut was on point that night.
Another actress with short was Anne Hathaway. Hathaway looked like a classic beauty in a light pink silk gown by Prada. The gown had criss-cross straps and an open back. The femininity of the dress complemented Hathaway's haircut.
You can say that the Oscars 2013 red carpet had many winning looks. Still, this short list of actresses stood out from the rest. They brought some much needed glamour and sophistication.
