Last year's major Oscar winners will appear at the 85th Academy Awards to present awards to the new crop of award winners, according to a Feb. 5, 2013, announcement by show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. Oscar winners Meryl Streep, Jean Dujardin, Octavia Spencer and Christopher Plummer will return to the Oscar stage in Hollywood on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 and televised on ABC Television Network.

Last year's Academy Award winners, Meryl Streep, Jean Dujardin, Octavia Spencer and Christopher Plummer, will return to present the prestigious awards on this year's telecast.
Craig Zadan and Neil Meron stated, "We are honored to have Meryl, Octavia, Christopher and Jean, last year's Oscar winners in each of the acting categories, return to the Oscar stage," according to the press release.
Meryl Streep, who is the most nominated actor with 17 nominations, has won three Academy Awards, including last year's lead actress award for her portrayal of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in "The Iron Lady."
Jean Dujardin won the Oscar for his lead performance in the Best Picture winner for the silent film, "The Artist." It was his first Oscar nomination. The Artist a big winner at 84th Academy Awards
Octavia Spencer, also a first time nominee, took home the Oscar for her supporting role in Best Picture nominee "The Help."
Christopher Plummer, who has been nominated twice, won the Oscar for his supporting role in "Beginners."
