Oscar winners Streep, Spencer, Plummer and Dujardin to return to Academy Awards (Video)

In was announced Tuesday, Feb. 5 that all of last year's acting Oscar winners Meryl Streep, Jean Dujardin, Octavia Spencer and Christopher Plummer will return to the Oscar stage to present at the upcoming Academy Awards. If tradition continues, Meryl Streep will present the Oscar to the new Best Actor winner, Jean Dujardin will present the Oscar to the new Best Actress winner, Octavia Spencer will present the Oscar to the new Best Supporting Actor winner and Christopher Plummer will present the Oscar to the new Best Supporting Actress winner.

"We are honored to have Meryl, Octavia, Christopher and Jean, last year's Oscar winners in each of the acting categories, return to the Oscar stage," said Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

Last year, Meryl Streep took home her third Academy Award for her performance in "The Iron Lady." Streep has the distinction of being the most nominated actor with 17 nominations. French actor Jean Dujardin charmed audiences and critics alike last year for his silent performance in "The Artist." For his efforts he was awarded the Best Actor Oscar. Actress Octavia Spencer brought to the screen a memorable and stirring performance in "The Help," and it was no surprise when she was honored with the Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Long time thespian, Christopher Plummer won his first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in "The Beginners."

The 85th Annual Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, March 24 and will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. The night will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane live on ABC and will be televised in more than 225 countries worldwide.
