Oscar Winners Leaked or a Huge Hoax? You Decide.



With the 81st Annual Academy Awards approaching tonight there has now been reports of a possible leak. A letter which states all the winners for tonights Oscars has been leaked online, the letter furthers its authenticity with a signature from Sid Ganis the president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The letter states that this years comeback kid Mickey Rourke will win the best actor category, while Heath Ledger will be taking the best supporting actor award for his performance in The Dark Knight ( if he wins his daughter Matilda will receive the award). It is also projected that Kate Winslet will take home the best actress Oscar, and underdog Amy Adams will win the best supporting actress award for her role in Doubt. Slumdog Millionaire Director Danny Boyle will take home best director and the film will take the coveted best picture category. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released a statement denouncing the letter as total hoax stating that PricewaterhouseCoopers was still counting ballots at the time of the letters conception.

    I personally did not watch the oscar; however, I feel that this was just a test run by the company to see who would leak out the information. Thereby, having a reason to lay off certain amounts of people due to the inability to compensate employees caused by the financial slump of our country. It is a very advantageous method!
