Charlize Theron is not only a great actress and beautiful but she also helped a security guard who went into a seizure at the 2013 Oscars tonight, according to E! who reported this on Feb.24, 2013.
Apparently, a security guard went into a seizure before the start of the show. Although there were a few people around the guard at the time it happened, Charlize Theron was one of them and ran to his aid. She tried to help him up while someone else called a doctor.
Although she did run to this security guard’s rescue when he went down, she still had time to make her way to the Oscar stage for a dance with Channing Tatum. Apparently, Theron can do everything; act, dance and help someone in need!
Having first-hand experience being around those who have had seizures, the only thing a person can do is to make sure the one having the seizure doesn't hit their head. They will also need to make sure the airways are open so this person can still breathe. I am sure Charlize was only trying to do what was best but there is no need to help the person up when they are having a seizure. All there is to do is let them come out of it on their own while waiting for help and making sure they do not hit their head and that they can still breathe.
