Oscar results: 2013 winners at the Oscars include Ang Lee, Anne Hathaway (Video)

The Oscar results for 2013 are in with director Ang Lee and actress Anne Hathaway among this year's winners at the Oscars. Seth MacFarlane drew a mixed reaction as host, while musical performances by the likes of Adele and "Goldfinger" singer, Shirley Bassey, were among the show's highlights.

According to NY Daily News on Feb. 25, Hathaway managed to keep her composure on stage while delivering the standard "thank you speech" that many give for their Oscar acceptance talk on stage. However, once the Best Supporting Actress winner was backstage, she seemed to get more emotional, while getting her Oscar engraved, and when talking with reporters.

During her talk with the media backstage, Hathaway is quoted as saying:

"I had a dream. And it came true. And it can happen. And it's wonderful."

Her win for "Les Miserables" on Sunday night gave Hathaway her first Oscar win. She was previously nominated for her role in "Rachel Getting Married," although that nomination was as the lead actress.

Another big winner on the night was director Ang Lee, who pulled off what could have been considered one of the bigger upsets of the night. Lee took the Best Director award for directing "Life of Pi," besting Spielberg who directed "Lincoln."

During his acceptance speech, Lee said:

"Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you, movie god. I really need to share this with all 3,000. Everybody who worked with me on Life of Pi. I want to thank you for… I really want to thank you for believing in this story and share this incredible journey with me."

According to The Independent, Lee added thanks to his wife Jane Lin, whom he's been married to nearly 30 years, as well as thanks to his sons, Han and Mason. With the victory, Lee took home his second-ever Oscar award as Best Director, previously winning in 2005 for "Brokeback Mountain." Of note, Spielberg was also nominated for his film "Munich" n that year, but lost out to Lee.

Other winners on the night included Jennifer Lawrence picking up her first-ever Oscar as Best Actress for "Silver Linings Playbook," Christoph Waltz with his second Best Supporting Actor in three years, Daniel Day-Lewis winning Best Actor for his historic third time, and "Argo" winning as Best Picture.
