Oscar Pistorius is being moved to a new jail due to his 'special needs'

Oscar Pistorius has been moved to a different jail after officials decided the current jail was not suitable for “special needs.” According to TMZ on Feb. 15, Pistorius was charged with the murder of Reeva Steenkamp by a judge in South Africa this morning.

The bail hearing for Pistorius has been postponed by the request of both the prosecution and the defense and the case was adjourned until Tuesday. Until then Pistorius will remain in custody.

Officials have decided that the cell Pistorius has been in is not suitable due to his “special needs.” Pistorius is being moved from the Boschkop Jail to the Brooklyn Police Station in Pretoria.

Oscar will also not be able to receive home-cooked meals like he was at the other jail. He also will not be allowed any visitors except for his legal team. Oscar will also be checked on every 30 minutes.

Oscar Pistorius is being accused of killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp inside his home. According to the police, he is the only suspect.
