Oscar night is right around the corner and fashion lovers can’t wait to see what the celebrities will wear. Red stands out and looks good on TV. Hollywire released a list on Feb. 1 of predictions as to which celebs will be wearing red to the Oscars.
It’s award show season. We’ve already seen several of the current top actresses rocking red at the Golden Globes and SAG shows this year, including Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Garner. The Oscars is the last award show and the stars typically put even more effort into being the best dressed.
Lawrence is expected to wear red again. She wore the color to the Golden Globes this year and the Oscars in 2012. Jennifer frequently wears Dior.
The prediction is that Chastain will go dark in an edgy McQueen look. Garner has worn a rainbow of colors on the red carpet and is a bit of a wild card.
Anne Hathaway is expected to earn an Oscar for her role in “Les Miserables.” Hatheway has worn red in the past and it certainly would add to the drama of either winning or losing the coveted award.
