Attention all Flint area Oscar buffs: sharpen your pencils and get ready to make your predictions for this year’s Academy Award winners. NCG Trillium Cinemas Grand Blanc staff confirmed this afternoon that their annual Oscar contest opens today, February 3rd.
The Trillium Grand Blanc has shown almost all of this year’s Oscar nominated films, and currently is featuring Best Picture nominees ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’, ‘War Horse’ and ‘The Descendants’ (starring Golden Globe winner and Best Actor/Adapted Screenplay Oscar nominee George Clooney).
‘The Artist’ and ‘The Iron Lady’ starring Best Actress Oscar nominee Meryl Streep are both currently playing at NCG Cinema Lansing.

Ballots are available at the Customer Service desk and must be completed and returned by February 26th at 5 PM EST. to qualify as an entry. The ballot with the most correct winning predictions will win the following prizes:
1st Place: 10 Movie Passes
2nd Place: 6 Movie Passes
3rd Place: 2 Movie Passes
In the event of a tie, winners will be chosen from a random drawing. Only one entry is allowed per person and remember, you are picking who you think will win, not necessarily who you are rooting for.

Entries will be judged and tallied following this year’s Academy Award ceremony, which will air live in Flint on WJRT ABC12 on Sunday, February 26th at 7 PM EST.
