"Orphan Black" is easily the best new show of 2013, and the wait until season 2 begins seems so long. Fortunately, on Monday, Dec. 23, BBC America released a new teaser trailer to make the wait just a bit easier.
There isn't much out in terms of new footage for "Orphan Black" season 2 (there's really only the photo to the left of Tatiana Maslany as Sarah and Rachel), but there have been a couple of teasers released to get you excited for what's to come. In the spring, Sarah will be trying to find her missing daughter, Kira (Skyler Wexler) and will be at war with proclone Rachel. The clones will be divided and in danger – Cosima's sick and Alison signed the contract – and as Sarah finds out more about her past, mysterious new characters are introduced, but who can be trusted?
The new season 2 trailer (first posted by Entertainment Weekly) features the following voiceover from the clones: "I'm part of a sisterhood like no other, a piece of a puzzle I can barely comprehend. My life is someone else's experiment. My name is Alison Hendrix, is Cosima Niehaus, is Rachel Duncan, Sarah Manning — and I'm one of a kind." Nothing new is revealed, and we're still left with so many questions, but it's still a nice Christmas gift considering how many months are still left before the new season premieres.
"Orphan Black" season 2 premieres Saturday, April 19 at 9 p.m. on BBC America. What do you think of the new trailer?
