'Orphan Black' season 2: 'Sarah is in a place of complete desperation'

The "Orphan Black" season 2 premiere is only weeks away, and to get you excited, BBC America released a new Insider video, this one all about Sarah, on Saturday, March 29.

It begins in a way that is sure to leave you wanting more "Orphan Black" now: with Sarah kicking her way through a wall. "Sarah is in a place of complete desperation at the start of season 2," series star extraordinaire Tatiana Maslany explains. "She's without any kind of sense of what's going on in her life. She's completely lost." That includes the story behind that Project LEDA photo from July 22, 1977.

When season 2 begins, Sarah's trying to find Kira (Skyler Wexler), and as a phone call clip in this video shows, she thinks her daughter and Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy) have been taken – but we still have some serious questions about Mrs. S. She's trying to get her life back together, "fight for her life and fight for her family and her home," the actress continues.

Like season 1, Sarah is alone, but in season 2, she's "a lot more desperate" now, and she's running from people on all sides. How much will Art (Kevin Hanchard) find out about the woman who was posing as his dead partner?

There are several new clips of Sarah in season 2 – including Alison telling her, "I'd say don't do anything rash, but rash seems to be a genetic trait" – and while we've seen that last bit of her with her hands tied looking terrified before, it doesn't make us any less concerned this time around.

"Orphan Black" season 2 airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. on BBC America, premiering April 19. What are you hoping to see from Sarah?
