'Orphan Black' season 2: Paranoia, fear and everything that makes Alison Alison

Are you ready for a tease of what's coming up for everyone's favorite soccer mom clone in "Orphan Black" season 2? That's the focus of Tuesday, April 1's Insider video from BBC America.

When "Orphan Black" season 1 ended, Alison (Tatiana Maslany) thought that her life would be a bit easier since she signed the contract and stood by as the person she thought was her monitor was strangled to death via scarf and garbage disposal. However, what she doesn't know is that her real monitor is none other than the man sleeping beside her every night: her husband, Donnie (Kristian Bruun).

So what does season 2 hold for her? "I know John Fawcett has always been an advocate for Alison, so I think he's really pushing the expansion of her story," Maslany says. "The tone of the stuff that we do with Alison has always had a different kind of bent than the rest of the characters. We left her in a state of denial, and I think she's kind of still there. Everything that happened to her last season has completely changed the fabric of her life, and there's no way to kind of get it back, but she'll pretend that everything's good. She's in a severe amount of paranoia, fear – everything that makes Alison Alison."

In other words, it sounds like we're in for a lot more fun with Alison, who has easily become our favorite clone after everything we saw from her in season 1. After all, who else could turn a craft room into a torture room during a suburban block party?

New footage in the Insider video shows Alison eagerly drinking at Aynsley's funeral, hiding Felix (Jordan Gavaris) from Donnie and worried about going to jail. Oh, and we can't forget Felix bringing up borrowing a gun. Who else would you turn to for a gun but Alison?

"Orphan Black" season 2 premieres April 19 on BBC America. What are you hoping to see from Alison?
