'Orphan Black' season 2: How Felix survives and his special dynamic with Alison

One of the best characters on "Orphan Black" isn't even one of the clones. That would be Felix, played by Jordan Gavaris, and he's the focus of the Insider video BBC America released on Thursday, April 3.

Felix has become a confidante for the clones on "Orphan Black," even for Alison (Tatiana Maslany), who aimed a gun at him when they first met. But there is so much more to Felix than his connection to Sarah and now the other clones, and more of him in season 2 can only be a good thing.

"Felix is a survivor with a very interesting flair. He's felt so alone and so vulnerable for so long that that sort of haughty attitude is another way that he survives," Gavaris explains. "At the end of season 1, Felix was aiding Sarah through the whole clone mystery, and he's getting just a little bit fed up of constantly having to bail out the clone club." Can you blame him after everything that's happened?

"We hit something special by putting Alison and Felix together," executive producer John Fawcett says, and as we've seen in previously released previews and sneak peeks, there's going to be more of that in season 2. In fact, Felix is the one Alison confides in about Aynsley, and this new Insider video offers a further look at one of their upcoming conversations. "Got any ideas or just want to keep drinking?" He asks, to which the so-much-more-than-a-soccer-mom clone replies, "I think I need to keep drinking for a while and then I'll have an idea."

But here's a question raised by this new video preview: Why is Felix hitchhiking? Where is he running from/going?

"Orphan Black" season 2 premieres April 19 on BBC America. What are you hoping to see from Felix?
