'Orphan Black' season 2 episode 8 preview: Cosima's running out of time

The second season of "Orphan Black" is almost over, but there are still a few episodes left. On Saturday, May 31, BBC America released a preview of episode 8, "Variable and Full of Perturbation."

The latest episode saw Sarah sort of take a step away from fighting Dyad and leaving Mrs. S to make the big moves while she helped Alison out on Family Day at rehab. That resulted in Donnie finding out he'd been tasked with monitoring a clone, and once he knew the truth, he tracked down Dr. Leekie to give him a piece of his mind. Meanwhile, Dr. Leekie had been on the run after Rachel found out the truth, and she and Marion had put a plan in motion. In the end, he did end up dead, but only because Donnie stupidly slammed his hand down and the gun accidentally went off.

In this next episode, a new player in the clone conspiracy turns up at Felix's door and sends him into crisis mode. Meanwhile, Cosima is running out of options, so Sarah struggles with the decision to surrender a crucial piece of leverage and make a deal with Dyad. Upon learning that the stem cells they'd been using to treat her came from Kira (a tooth she lost in the accident), Sarah and Kira left Cal behind to go back to help – but what's going to happen next?

The "Variable and Full of Perturbation" promo shows Rachel destroying Dr. Leekie's office, and as you can see, "destroy" is pretty much the only word you can use for what she's doing. Meanwhile, Delphine tells Cosima she thinks Dr. Leekie was killed, but they're going to have more important things to deal with when Cosima collapses. Plus, there's a Beth Childs mention!

"Orphan Black" season 2 airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. on BBC America. What do you think of episode 8 "Variable and Full of Perturbation" preview?
